N-Boc-N-bis(PEG2-propargyl) is a branched PEG derivative with two terminal propargyl groups and a Boc protected amino group. The propargyl groups can be reacted with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules via copper catalyzed azide-alkyne Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. The amino group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, and carbonyls. The protected amine can be deprotected by acidic conditions.
General description
N-Boc-N-bis(PEG2-propargyl) is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs. N-Boc-N-bis(PEG2-propargyl) is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
