Overview

NAP (sodium phenyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphinate) is a water-soluble Type I photoinitiator optimized for biomedical applications. Compared with the commonly used photoinitiator LAP (lithium phenyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphinate) on the market, NAP is in the form of sodium salt, which can reduce the potential neurotoxicity risk of lithium ions. It can be used for the preparation of photosensitive hydrogels and bioinks.
