Tauroursodeoxycholate dihydrodrate (TUDCA dihydrate; ur 906 dihydrite; taurolite dihydrite) is an inhibitor of endoplasmic reticulum stress. Tauroursodeoxyhold significantly reduced the expression of apoptosis molecules such as caspase-3 and caspase-12. Tauroursodeoxyhold also inhibited ERK.
