This product is a natural active protein extracted from non-genetically modified soybeans, containing only the Kunitz Trypsin Inhibitor (KTI) protein component. It has trypsin inhibitor activity but no chymotrypsin (also known as chymase) inhibitor activity. The trypsin inhibitor (Trypsin Inhibitor, TI) activity of this product is ≥10000 BAEE U/mg, and it has high purity, making it suitable for experiments such as biochemical detection and cell culture.
Soybean protease inhibitors include two types of trypsin inhibitors: Bowman-Birk Inhibitor (BBI) and Kunitz Trypsin Inhibitor (KTI). BBI is a protein with a molecular weight of about 8KD Daltons, which has the property of inhibiting trypsin and chymotrypsin; KTI is a protein with a molecular weight of about 23KD Daltons, which has the property of inhibiting trypsin and is a stable globulin-type protein.
