Overview

Aladdin's Virus Regular Preservation Solution can be used for short-term storage and transportation of viral samples such as plasma, serum, cell-free fluids, swabs and cell culture supernatants after collection.Samples preserved in this product should be stored at 2-8℃ or lower temperatures and tested within 24 hours after collection. To be stored for a longer period of time, samples can be stored at -80℃ or preserved with the UltraBio™ Viral RNA Stabilization Solution .With an appropriate one-step qRT-PCR kit, the virus sample preserved with product can be directly used as a template for qRT-PCR, greatly simplifying the nucleic acid detection of RNA virus. The preservation effect of this product on the lentivirus of N-gene of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is shown in the table below. A certain amount of N-gene lentivirus added to pharyngeal swabs and stored in this product was used directly for qRT-PCR analysis. The Ct values were essentially the same as those of virus samples stored at -80℃ (Positive Control).Note

Precautions：

Specimen collectors need to be properly protected according to the relevant requirements, and subsequent operations should be performed in a Class II biosafety cabinet, following the Class II biosafety or higher standard. Fast™ SYBR Green One-Step qRT-PCR Kit , Fast ™ Probe One-Step qRT-PCR Kit or other validated kits are recommended for direct qRT-PCR analysis of preserved samples without RNA extraction. However, due to the diversity and uncertainty of the viral samples, we recommend verifying the analysis result with isolated RNA.This product is for R&D only. Not for drug, household, or other uses.For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during the operation.

Instructions for Use：

After sample collection, put the sample directly into a sampling tube containing 0.5-1ml of this product, and then store at an appropriate temperature for future use.
