Overview

General description
Insoluble in water, soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. Lower volatility than DOP. Good heat resistance. DINP is an excellent general-purpose, non-toxic primary plasticizer, mainly used in polyvinyl chloride (PVC), vinyl chloride copolymers, acid cellulose, ethyl cellulose, and synthetic rubber. It has good compatibility with PVC, low volatility and migration, high plasticizing efficiency, and superior performance compared to DOP. It possesses excellent heat resistance, light resistance, aging resistance, and electrical insulation properties. It is widely used in toy films, wires, and cables.
