What is the application scale of molecular Building Blocks in drug development?
Building Blocks are mainly classified into above kilogram level and below kilogram level. Products below the kilogram level are mostly used for combination and screening in the preclinical development stage of new drugs, and the dosage is mostly in the milligram to gram level. Until drug development enters the clinical stage, although the categories used for molecular blocks screening gradually decrease, the product dosage will rapidly increase to above kilogram level.
Da — when not otherwise indicated, molecular weight units are daltons. Mw — weight-average molecular weight. Mn — number-average molecular weight.
