Overview

N-dodecyl-1,3-propanediamine (N-lauryl-1,3-propanediamine, DA12) can be used to synthesize nonionic surfactants with ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, etc.;
it is used as an asphalt emulsifier;
as a mineral flotation agent,it has unique effects in the flotation of minerals such as phosphate ore;
it can also be used as a chain lubricant and applied in the lubricant additive industry; 
in the pigment industry, it is commonly used as a pigment dispersant;
