Overview

Product Introduction
Hydrogels are highly hydrophilic three-dimensional network-structured gels. Owing to their excellent biocompatibility, they have become promising bioinks for 3D bioprinting. However, hydrogels usually exhibit high swelling upon contact with water. Swelling degrades the mechanical properties of hydrogels. Moreover, uncontrolled swelling may damage the surrounding tissues when implanted in vivo. In addition, swelling compromises the precision of printed structures.
Low-swelling 3D printing ink is a sterile, ready-to-use bioink suitable for DLP and LCD printing. This product controls the swelling degree of hydrogels by introducing hydrophobic polymers, thereby ensuring printing accuracy.

Applications
1. High-strength, high-elasticity implantable devices (e.g., prostheses, trachea, etc.)
2. High-precision, complex hydrogel devices (e.g., scaffolds, blood vessels, etc.)
3. Multiscale microfluidic channels and organoid chips
Usage Instructions
1. This product can be mixed with drugs, factors or other bioactive substances.
① Prepare a solution of drugs or factors, filter-sterilize (0.22 μm), and transfer it into an empty luer-lock syringe.
② Connect the above syringe with the product syringe using a luer-lock adapter. Carefully pre-fill the luer-lock adapter before connection to avoid introducing air bubbles. Gently push back and forth until the ink is completely and uniformly mixed with the drug/factor solution.
③ If the single-use volume is less than the product loading volume, the required amount of ink solution can be pre-transferred into an empty luer-lock syringe via a luer-lock adapter.
④ It is recommended to mix 10 parts of ink solution with 1 part of drug/factor solution to avoid excessively low concentration, which may affect the gel performance after curing.
2. Printing parameters are shown in the table below

Irradiation Wavelength365 nm~405 nmRecommended Irradiation Wavelength385 nm
Irradiation Intensity≥ 30 mW/cm²Exposure Time30~45 s
Printing Layer Height50~100 μm

3. After printing, rinse the printed model with phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) or physiological saline to remove residual ink. Post-cure the model (recommended: 385 nm, ≥ 50 mW/cm², 30 s on each side) until fully cured.

4. Immerse the fully cured model in PBS or physiological saline repeatedly 3 times, 30 min each time, to remove residual photoinitiator and light absorber small molecules.

Note: When used in combination with drugs or factors, handle appropriately.

Precautions

1. The product is sterilized. Maintain aseptic operation during use to avoid microbial contamination.

2. Before use, the outer surface of the product syringe can be wiped and disinfected with alcohol.

3. The product must be stored strictly away from light.
