Overview

UltraBio™ Western Blot Enhancer is a universal dilution buffer for primary antibodies or enzyme-labeled secondary antibodies in Western blotting. It can enhance the binding between antigens and antibodies in detection experiments, especially when the target protein band signal is weak due to extremely low abundance of the target protein or low antibody titer. It can increase the sensitivity of Western blot detection several times, thus effectively solving problems such as low sensitivity often encountered in the detection process. This product can also be used for sensitization in immunological detection methods such as Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), Dot-Blot, Immuno-Fluorescence, and Immuno-Histochemistry.

Product Features:

Precautions:

1. The detection effect of the diluted primary or secondary antibodies will decrease after multiple uses. If the detection effect decreases, or there is turbidity, precipitation, etc., they should be discarded. To enable the diluted primary or secondary antibodies to be used multiple times, the diluted antibodies should be recovered immediately after the antibody incubation and stored at 2-8℃ immediately.
2. This product is only used for the dilution of primary or secondary antibodies, not for the blocking of blotting membranes, nor for the coating of antigens or antibodies in ELISA detection.
3. There is no need to add other blocking reagents such as BSA, skimmed milk powder, casein, etc. to this product. Adding other reagents extra may lead to adverse effects.
4. Due to the uncertainty of target proteins and antibodies, this product may have a general effect on increasing the detection signal intensity of some target proteins and corresponding antibodies.
5. In the actual use of this product, if the target band signal is very strong, the signal of non-specific bands will also be enhanced accordingly. At this time, you can try to appropriately reduce the protein loading amount, lower the concentration of primary and secondary antibodies, or shorten the exposure time.
