Kaempferol 3,7,4'-trimethyl ether is an O-methylated kaempferol flavonol aglycone. Kaempferol 3,7,4'-trimethyl ether exhibits antioxidant activity. Kaempferol 3,7,4'-trimethyl ether suppresses the proliferation of leukemia cells and exerts selective cytotoxicity against both drug‑sensitive and multi‑factorial drug‑resistant cancer cells. Kaempferol 3,7,4'-trimethyl ether can be applied in the research of multidrug‑resistant cancers.
