Performance description: Thermostable RNase T1 is a heat-resistant mutant based on RNase T1 through protein-directed evolution. Compared to wild-type RNase T1, ThermostableRNase T1 is able to maintain 100% activity at 50°C, while wild-type activity decreases by at least 50% at the same temperature. The higher reaction temperature helps to fully open the secondary structure of RNA and reduce or avoid its influence on enzyme digestion, thus making the enzyme digestion process more thorough. Activity definition: The activity unit (U) refers to the amount of enzyme required to change A260 by 1.0 using yeast RNA as substrate at 37°C and pH7.5. Application: 1. Remove RNA from DNA; 2. Remove RNA from recombinant protein; 3. RNA sequencing; 4. For ribonuclease protection test (in combination with RNase A) 5. The transcription levels of DNA templates with no or low G content were measured. Attention: 1. The thermal deactivation of Thermostable RNase T1 is reversible, and it is recommended to remove Thermostable RNase T1 by column purification or phenol/chloroform extraction. 2. Rnase-related experiments should be conducted in fume hoods or specific areas to avoid influence on other experiments. 3. For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat, disposable gloves and a mask to perform the experiment.
