Overview

Differentiation refers to the process of removing excess stain bound to tissues with specific solutions after tissue staining, which is termed differentiation, and the solutions used are called differentiators.1% hydrochloric acid ethanol is commonly adopted as the differentiator in H&E staining and other staining protocols. Acid can disrupt the quinone structure of hematoxylin, separating pigments from tissue and decolorizing specimens. Subsequent eosin staining ensures distinct coloration of cell nuclei and cytoplasm.1% Acidic Ethanol Differentiator is mainly composed of dilute acid and ethanol. As an essential auxiliary reagent, it is widely applied in H&E staining and Masson’s trichrome staining.

Instructions for Use

1.Operate in accordance with the specific requirements of your experiment.

2.Perform differentiation for 2 to 5 seconds under normal conditions, then immediately stop the reaction with water or bluing solution.

1. Store in a tightly sealed container. Use up promptly after opening, as the active ingredients are highly volatile.
