Overview

In (acac)3is the indium complex of acetylacetone. Metal acetylacetonates exhibit high sensitivity to oxidizing gases.In (acac)3is used as a precursor for the synthesis of In2O3.Indium(III) acetylacetonate acts as a catalyst in the synthesis of oxindole derivatives. In (acac)3were studied to be used as gas sensors. It is used in the synthesis of indium tin oxide nanocrystals (ITO). Thin-film solar cells are synthesized with atomic layer chemical vapor deposition using In (acac)3and H2S.
