Ruthenium Red has a molecular formula of Ru₃O₂Cl₆·14(NH₃), a CAS number of 11103-72-3 and a molecular weight of 786.35. It appears as red crystals and can be used as a voltage-sensitive calcium channel inhibitor. Aladdin Ruthenium Red Staining Solution can stain the mycelia and spores in host plant tissues red for the staining of tissue sections of plant diseases and insect pests. This reagent is for research use only and not suitable for clinical diagnosis or any other purposes.
Operating Procedures (For Reference Only):
1. Place the prepared sections into the ruthenium red staining solution and incubate for 1–3 minutes.
2. For samples that are difficult to stain, appropriately extend the staining time.
