Aladdin Neutralization Buffer (1M Tris-HCl, pH 9.0) is a ready-to-use, high-concentration buffer specifically formulated for the immediate neutralization of low-pH eluents collected during antibody purification processes. This buffer enables rapid pH adjustment to protect sensitive antibodies from acid-induced denaturation, ensuring optimal recovery of biological activity.
Key Features
Ready-to-Use: Pre-adjusted to pH 9.0, requiring no dilution or further preparation
Rapid Neutralization: Quickly restores physiological pH conditions following acidic elution
High Buffering Capacity: 1M concentration ensures effective neutralization of low-pH elution buffers
Preserves Antibody Integrity: Prevents prolonged acid exposure that can lead to antibody denaturation and activity loss
Wide Compatibility: Ideal for use with all acidic elution buffers including Aladdin's IgG Elution Buffer (pH 2.7)
Applications
Immediate neutralization of antibodies following Protein A/G/L affinity purification
Compatible with both manual and automated purification systems
Suitable for neutralizing eluents from various affinity chromatography methods
Ideal for research-scale and process development applications
Instructions for Use
Add Neutralization Buffer to collection tubes prior to elution (recommended volume: 1/10 of expected eluent volume)
Collect acidic eluate (e.g., from Aladdin IgG Elution Buffer, pH 2.7) directly into the buffer
Mix gently to ensure complete neutralization
Verify final pH if necessary; the mixture should reach approximately neutral pH (7.0-7.4)
Notes
For optimal antibody recovery, neutralize immediately after collection
Adjust neutralization buffer volume proportionally for larger-scale purifications
Custom pH formulations (pH 8.0-9.0) available upon request
Comprehensive hazard, handling, storage, and regulatory compliance document.
