Determination of aniline-4-hydroxylase activity

Summary

Hydroxylase, also known as hydroxylase, is a type of oxygenase, an enzyme that catalyzes the reaction that utilizes oxygen molecules to form hydroxides (phenols and alcohols). The so-called mono (plus) oxygenases require an electron donor (NADP-H) in addition to a substrate, AH+O2+NADPH+H+→AOH+NADP++H2O, and then synthesize tyrosine from phenylalanine, (phenylalanine hydroxylase), and aminophenol from aniline (aryl-4-hydroxylase). Hydroxylases are present in reactions such as the synthesis of steroids from squalene (tridecahexaene squalene) (squalene hydroxylase) and the hydroxylation of steroids (various steroid hydroxylases). Most hydroxylases are composed of P-450 or F-AD. In most cases, it is present in various organ microsomes. It is also present in the mitochondria of the pararenal cortex.
