Membrane agent refers to the membrane preparation made of drug and suitable film-forming material through processing for oral or mucosal external use. The research of membrane dosage began in the 60's, and the research and application of membrane dosage at home and abroad had a great development since the 70's. At present, there are more than 30 kinds of membrane dosage officially put into production in China. Membrane agents can be taken orally, orally, sublingually, intraconjunctival capsule, vaginally, skin or mucous membrane trauma patches and so on. Some membrane agents, especially the nasal cavity, skin medication membrane agent can also play a systemic role.

Some membrane agents, especially the nasal cavity, skin medication membrane agent can also play a systemic role. The performance and quality of film-forming materials not only affect the film molding process, but also have an important impact on the efficacy of the film and the quality of the finished product. The prescription of the film agent is mainly composed of the main drug, film-forming materials and additives, and the additives mainly include plasticizers, coloring agents and so on. The preparation methods of membrane agent mainly include homogenization film making method, thermoplastic film making method and composite film making method.

1. Preparation of fluorinated nanomembranes
[Prescription]Fluorinolina: 1.5 gPolyvinyl alcohol: 10.0 gTween-80: 1.0 mlGlycerol: 1.5 mlDistilled water: 80.0 ml
[Preparation]Polyvinyl alcohol is placed in a beaker and water is added (a little is left to dissolve fluoride) to make it dissolve at 90°C. Fluoride solution, Tween-80, and glycerin are added to the polyvinyl alcohol solution, stirred well, and the film is coated (thickness of about 0.13 m, area of 40×28 cm2 ), cut into 1.5 cm2 small pieces after drying, and put into a polyethylene bag to be sealed and kept for spare use.
2. Preparation of ulcer film
[Prescription]Neomycin sulfate: 1.0 g Clotrimazole: 1.0g Dacronine Hydrochloride: 0.5g Ice tablet: 10.0g Hydrocortisone acetate: 125.0mg Sorbitol : 5.0g Carboxymethyl cellulose: 6.0g Distilled water: appropriate amount [Preparation]Sorbitol and carboxymethyl cellulose are dissolved in about 180-185 ml of hot distilled water, and the rest of the drugs (neomycin sulfate, clotrimazole, dacronin hydrochloride, ice tablet, hydrocortisone acetate) are ground finely and sifted and added to the gum liquid and mixed thoroughly, and then poured onto a glass plate coated with a small amount of liquid paraffin, or formed into a film with an area of 20×40 cm2, dried at 80°C, and then cut into a film agent with an area of 2×2 cm2. It is sealed in a plastic bag and set aside.
3. Preparation of anamnesis film agent
[Prescription]Enoxaparin: 25 mgCod liver oil: 0.5 mlGlycerol: 1.0 mlPolyvinyl alcohol (PVA): 2.5 gCarboxymethyl cellulose (CMC): 1.0 gTween-80: 1.0 mlLiquid paraffin: 1.0 dropDistilled water: 40 ml
[Preparation](1) Take PVA and CMC, glycerol, Tween-80 and distilled water 40 ml in a beaker of water, dissolve (overnight) and then heat on a water bath to dissolve and add cod liver oil.(2) The main drug will be finely ground, dissolved in 5-10 ml of water, filtered, added to the upper liquid mixing, poured on a glass plate coated with a small amount of liquid paraffin, so that the film is naturally dry (or dried at 800C) that is obtained.
II. Quality check of membrane agent
1. Thickness checking method
Take a sheet of membrane with a micrometer to measure the four sides of the membrane, take the average value should be in line with the provisions of the 0.065 + 015 mm, one of the four sides shall not be lower than 0.014 mm or higher than 0.09 mm.
2. Weight checking method
Take one sheet of membrane and weigh it precisely, it should comply with 210+20% mg.
[Note]After the above two checks, the total failure rate of 10 sheets of film agent is not more than one sheet.
3. Dissolution time check
Take a piece of film 2.5 cm wide and 5 cm long, hold it with a clip with an opening wider than 2.5 cm, and immerse it in water with the clip until it dissolves and breaks off in no more than 50 seconds.
