Overview

Leupeptin trifluoroacetate salt is an inhibitor of serine and cysteine proteases, as well as a plasmin, trypsin, papain and cathepsin B inhibitor. No inhibition is found with pepsin, cathepsins A and D, thrombin, or α-chymotrypsin. Leupeptin has an effective concentration of 10-100 μM.
