Overview

Triethanolamine (TEA) belongs to the family of ethanolamine. It includes the properties of both amines and alcohols.[5] Addition of TEA to an acidic buffer facilitates the determination of fluoride in inorganic orthophosphates by using a fluoride-selective electrode.
