Paraffin section is the most widely used method in the routine histology technique. Paraffin section is not only used to observe the morphology and structure of normal cells and tissues, but also used as the main method to study, observe and judge the morphology of cells and tissues in the disciplines of pathology and forensic medicine, and has also been widely used in the research of many other disciplines.

Paraffin blocks Move 1. Using a razor blade, cut the wax block containing the sample into a trapezoidal shape, carefully removing excess paraffin and not getting too close to the embedded sample (otherwise the sample may be damaged or the block may break). Caveat Warming will flatten the slides and remove wrinkles. Do not leave slides on the heating table for too long or the sections will be damaged. 2. Place the trapezoidal wax block with the broad side facing the blade in the holder of the slicer for slicing. Slice to a thickness of 8 μm.

3. Add 1 drop of 0.2 x gelatin soaking solution to the gelatin-soaked slide and place the sections in rows on the droplet with a fine-bristled brush (up to 10 sections depending on the size of the sample).
4. Transfer the slides to a slide warmer or heated bench at a temperature of 45~50 °C.5. After the sections are flattened, the slides are removed from the heating table and the residual soaking solution is carefully removed with a capillary pipette and the sections are dried at room temperature.6. The slides were incubated at 42°C for 1-2 days to allow the sections to adhere firmly to them.
