Overview
LysoTracker Yellow HCK 123 is a highly efficient yellow membrane-permeable fluorescent probe and a weakly basic amine that selectively accumulates in cellular compartments with low luminal pH. It is a cell-permeant lysosomal fluorescent probe with a maximum excitation/emission wavelength of 465/535 nm. In its neutral charge state, LysoTracker Yellow HCK 123 can diffuse freely across the intact plasma membrane of living cells. The dye exhibits high selectivity for acidic organelles; after diffusing into lysosomes, the weakly basic groups of the probe become protonated, resulting in its accumulation within lysosomes. In addition, LysoTracker Yellow HCK 123 can be used to label and trace acidic organelles such as lysosomes.
Solubility in DMSO: 62.5 mg/mL (171.51 mM; sonication may assist dissolution. Hygroscopic DMSO significantly affects the solubility of the product; please use freshly opened DMSO.)
