This experiment is from the official website of Parasitology, School of Medicine, Shandong University.
Operation method
Morphological observation experiments on ciliates of colonic pouches Move Trophoblast (microscopic observation) Trophozoites and encapsulations of the ciliates of the colonic pouches For more product details, please visit Aladdin Scientific website.
1. Fecal smears from infected pigs, iron hematoxylin stained for high magnification and oil microscopic observation.
(1) Appearance
It is the largest human parasitic protozoa, oval in shape, with the size of (30~200) um x (25 ~150) um.
The body surface has cilia.
2. cytostome and cytoplasmic anus At the anterior end of the body, there is a depressed cytostome, which is connected to the funnel-shaped cytopharynx, and at the posterior end, the cytoplasmic anus is visible (cytoprocte).
3. contractile vacuole There is a contractile vacuole in the middle and posterior part of the body.
4. nucleus with 2 blue-black nuclei, large nucleus kidney-shaped, spherical nucleus located in the depression of the large nucleus.
5. encapsulation (microscopic observation)
Fecal smear of infected pig, stained with iron hematoxylin, observed under high magnification and oil microscope. Round or oval, 40-60 um in diameter.
The wall of the capsule was thick, and a large blue-black nucleus was seen inside the capsule.
