Materials and Instruments
Rabbit Rat Move Take a rabbit or rat, hit its head to death, immediately cut open the thoracic cavity, separate the thoracic aorta, as far as possible in the near heart to cut it off, quickly placed in the Kirschner's solution and pass 95% oxygen and 5% carbon dioxide in the Petri dish, remove the extra-vascular connective tissue and fat, wash off the clots, and gently set in the aorta a little smaller than the glass rod. Then use ophthalmic scissors to cut the aorta as a spiral, made of aortic strips about 3mm wide, 1.5~2cm long, both ends were ligated with thread, placed in the Kirschner's solution and through 95% oxygen and 5% carbon dioxide at a constant temperature of 37 ℃ in the McDonald's bath tubes, smooth 90~120min after the experiments. The thoracic aorta can also be cut into multiple 2mm wide arterial rings instead of vascular strips for experiments. Caveat (1) This specimen should not be held in the hand, but should be picked up with forceps and should not be exposed to air for too long to avoid loss of sensitivity.(2) Kirsch's solution must be prepared with fresh distilled water.(3) The remaining arterial strips together with the Kirschner's solution placed in the refrigerator at 4 ℃, 1 ~ 2 days can still be used to do the experiment; the use of rat aortic strips can be made into a width of 2 ~ 2.5mm, 2 ~ 3cm long.
