The fructose of seminal plasma is co-cooled with resorcinol in an acidic environment at 90℃ to produce a red compound, the color of which is directly proportional to the fructose content. This experiment is derived from the experiment guide of Mudanjiang Medical College undergraduate 5-year testing program.

Principle
Fructose in concentrate is co-cooled with resorcinol in an acidic environment at 90°C to produce a red compound, the color of which is proportional to the fructose content.
