Operation method
Early embryonic development of animals and experiments on coelom observation
Principle
1. understand the general process of early embryonic development in multicellular animals by observing the various periods of early embryonic development in frogs and starfish, thus deepening our understanding of the origin of multicellular animals. 2. understand the main features of the Coelenterata phylum by observing slices of Hydra and immersion specimens of Serpentina, Lunar Hydroid, Jellyfish, and Anemone. 3. understand the importance of the development of the coelenterata phylum by observing the development of the early embryo in the frog and sea star.
Materials and Instruments
Starfish oval mounts Longitudinal and transverse sections Immersion specimens Move 1. Observations on the embryonic development of starfish (or sea urchins) and frogs at various periods. Common Problems I. Homework: 1. draw a structural diagram of a transverse section of a frog protozoan embryo. For more product details, please visit Aladdin Scientific website.
Microscope Slides Coverslips
2. observation of longitudinal and transverse sections of hydroids to characterize their internal structure.
3. observation of immersed specimens of Serpulidia, Luna, Jellyfish, Sea anemone.
4. demonstration: observation of sections of perispermathecial ovaries and ovaries of Hydra.
