In the presence of mouse IL-4 (Mil-4), IL-10 stimulated proliferation of the D36 mouse mast cell line. In contrast, single mIL4 or hIL-10 had only very low proliferation-stimulating activity.

Caveat
①Take the vigorously growing D36 cells and wash them twice with IMDM culture medium, suspend them in 20% FCS-IMDM culture medium, and make a concentration of 2×104/ml.②~⑥ Refer to IL-4 assay.
