Normal Liver Tissue Sections Move 1. Anatomy of the liver For more product details, please visit Aladdin Scientific website.
(1) Diaphragmatic surface: the upper part of the liver, divided into left and right lobes by the falciform ligament.
(2) Dirty side: pay attention to recognize the "H" structure, the anterior and posterior parts of the left longitudinal sulcus are the hepatic round ligament and the venous ligament respectively; the anterior part of the right longitudinal sulcus is the fossa of the gallbladder, the posterior part is the sulcus of the vena cava and the transverse sulcus is known as the porta hepatis, which includes the hepatic ducts, hepatic arteries and portal veins entering and exiting the portal.
2. Organizational structure of the liver
(1) Liver lobules: polygonal in shape, with the central vein in the center of the lobules, the surrounding hepatocyte cords arranged in a radial pattern, and the fissures between the cords are hepatic sinusoids, and the walls of the sinusoids are covered by endothelial cells.
(2) Portal area: composed of interlobular veins, interlobular arteries and interlobular bile ducts.
(3) Hepatocytes: polygonal, with clear cellular demarcation, large and round nuclei located in the center of the cells, abundant cytoplasm and eosinophilic.
