Blood can be taken from the jugular vein, femoral vein and small saphenous vein of the hind limb. (1) Blood collection from jugular and femoral veins: firstly, anesthesia is used for vascular isolation. Then use a syringe to extract blood along the direction of the blood vessel. (2) Blood extraction from the small saphenous vein of the hind limb: firstly, make the animal lie on its back and then fix it, tie a rubber tube at the upper end of the calf, and the filled vein can be seen under the subcutaneous of the outer calf, and blood can be extracted by percutaneous puncture.
