Move

1. Direct smear method:

Take 1 drop of saline in the center of the slide, mix a little rust-colored or blood-tinged sputum of the examinee with the saline, and cover the slide for microscopic examination. When checking amoebic trophozoites, fresh sputum must be used, and immediately smear for microscopic examination, and attention should be paid to maintaining the temperature at 24℃~25℃ to facilitate microscopic observation of active trophozoites. If the smear examination is negative for several times, the concentration method can be changed.

2. Concentration method:

Collect sputum for 24 hours and add equal amount of 10% NaOH solution, stir well and leave it at 37℃ for 2 hours, aspirate the sediment and centrifuge it, pour off the upper layer of liquid and take the sediment to check the eggs of Schistosoma pneumoniae.
