Stomach tissue structure morphology observation experiment

Materials and Instruments

Normal stomach specimen, fundus tissue section.

Move

1. Anatomy of the stomach

Observe the cardia, body, fundus and pylorus, identify the greater curvature of the stomach, lesser curvature of the stomach, angular incision, cardia incision, and note the structural features of the gastric mucosa.

2. Organizational structure of the fundus of the stomach

Four-layered structure of the gastric wall

(1) Mucosal layer: It consists of a single layer of columnar epithelium, lamina propria and muscular layer of the mucosa. The fundic glands consist of mural cells, principal cells, cervical mucous cells and endocrine cells.

(2) Submucosa: loose connective tissue, containing more blood vessels and lymphatic vessels.

(3) Muscular layer: divided into inner ring and outer longitudinal, and intermuscular plexus is seen between the two layers.

(4) Ectomembranous layer: composed of connective tissue, covered with plasma membrane.
