Nickel(II) bromide, dimethoxyethane adduct  is a nickel based catalyst that is used in the preparation of poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) Kumada catalyst transfer polymerization. It facilitates good control over the molecular weight of the conjugating polymer.
