This product is a Non-freezing tissue DNA preservation solution, suitable for preserving DNA in fresh tissue under room temperature conditions. It greatly facilitates sample collection and preservation in scenarios such as field studies and operating rooms, as well as the transportation of samples at room temperature. This non-denaturing solution effectively maintains the integrity of DNA molecules by inhibiting nuclease activity without altering the original structure of biomacromolecules. It widely meets the needs of tissue sample processing and preservation in scientific research experiments.
Product Features
Easy to Operate: No complex steps are required; simply place fresh tissue directly into the preservation solution to complete the preservation process. No need for liquid nitrogen, dry ice, or a -80°C freezer, making it especially suitable for rapid, large-scale collection of clinical and field samples.
Long Preservation Time: Under conditions of 4–25°C, DNA in tissue can be stably preserved for up to six months, enabling long-term preservation without the need for low-temperature environments.
High DNA Integrity: Preserved tissue samples can be used for total DNA extraction, and the extracted DNA can be directly applied to various molecular biology experiments, such as enzyme digestion, electrophoresis, and PCR, ensuring reliable experimental results.
Usage Instructions
Dosage Ratio: Approximately 100 mg of tissue requires about 1 mL of Tissue DNA Preservation Solution. Estimate the volume of preservation solution needed to completely submerge the sample based on the weight of the tissue being processed.
Sample Processing: Add the estimated amount of preservation solution to a labeled collection tube. Place the tissue fragments into the preservation solution, ensuring that the tissue fragments are completely submerged and no part of the tissue is exposed.
Sample Preservation: Store the collection tube containing the sample and preservation solution in an appropriate temperature environment, ensuring the storage temperature does not fall below 4°C.
Subsequent Operations: For DNA extraction, follow the routine DNA extraction procedure without any additional processing of the preserved tissue samples.
Precautions
This reagent is intended for research use only and is strictly prohibited for clinical diagnosis or other non-research purposes.
If multiple tissue specimens are stored together in 1 mL of preservation solution, some protective effect may still be provided. However, residual water within the tissue cells may shorten the preservation period. For long-term storage, promptly transfer each tissue piece into fresh preservation solution or proportionally increase the volume of preservation solution in the original tube to ensure the tissue is completely submerged.
Tissue samples should be freshly collected and immediately placed into the preservation solution to prevent tissue degradation from affecting DNA integrity. During storage, keep the collection tube sealed to prevent volatilization of the preservation solution.
