Product description
ROX Reference Dye is generally used on Real Time PCR amplification machines of companies such as ABI and Stratagene to adjust the difference between PCR tubes and tubes caused by PCR sample loading errors. Different instruments require different concentrations of ROX Reference Dye. Our company provides ROX Reference Dye storage solution with a concentration of 25μmol/L, and the final concentration of use is 50nmol/L or 500nmol/L depending on the instrument. The user can add it according to the recommended concentration of the instrument.
The recommended final concentration of ROX for different instruments:
Instrument | ROX per 50µL PCR Reaction | Final Concentration |
ABI PRISM 7000/7300/7700/7900HT and 7900HT Fast, ABI Step One, ABI Step One Plus | 1.0 µL(0.6~1.0µL) | 500nmol/L(300~500nmol/L) |
ABI 7500, 7500 Fast, Stratagene Mx3000P, Mx3005P, Mx4000, MJ Research Chromo4, Opticon (II), Corbett Rotor Gene 3000 | 0.1 µL*(0.06~0.1µL) | 50nmol/L(30~50nmol/L) |
Subtract the volume of ROX dye from the aqueous solution used to prepare the PCR reaction
*In order to accurately add 0.1μL to each reaction, it is recommended to dilute ROX 10 times with water before use, and use 1μL of the diluted solution.
