In clinical work, due to the different medical effects and purposes of medication, liquid pharmaceuticals are often classified according to the routes of administration and application methods: liquid pharmaceuticals for internal use, including combinations and drops; liquid pharmaceuticals for external use, including lotions, applications, ear drops, nose drops, gargles, paints and so on. Its preparation method refers to the preparation method of liquid pharmaceuticals classified according to the dispersion system.

Brown bottle Self-filter Mastic bowl Stirring rod Sieve
[Prescription].
Sodium benzoate caffeine 10 g Potassium bromide 30 g Distilled water to 1000 ml
[Method of Preparation]
Take the prescription of two kinds of drugs with appropriate amount of fresh distilled water dissolved and filtered, from the filter with fresh distilled water to make 1000 ml, stir well that is obtained.
[Note]
(1) Caffeine can be precipitated when the product is left for a long time, and it is easy to be precipitated when it is combined with acidic drugs.
(2) If there is no potassium bromide, sodium bromide can be used instead, but people with heart disease and kidney disease should be cautious.
(3) This product can be stored for a long time by adding preservatives, flavoring agents, coloring agents.
(4) The amount of sodium benzoate caffeine and potassium bromide can be adjusted according to the needs of the disease.
2. Preparation of benzyl benzoate lotion
[Prescription].
Benzyl benzoate 25 g Triethanolamine 0.5 g Oleic acid 2 g Distilled water to 100 ml
[Preparation]
Take triethanolamine and oleic acid, add benzyl benzoate and mix well, transfer into a bottle of about 200 ml, add about 25 ml of distilled water and shake to emulsify, and finally add distilled water to the full amount, shake well to obtain.
[Note].
(1) This product can be used 2% Tween-80 or soft soap as emulsifier.
(2) This product should be stored in airtight and low temperature.
3. Preparation of Furnace Glycolite Application (Isobaric Stone Application)
[Prescription].
Glycerite 80 g Zinc oxide 80 g Peanut oil 500 ml Calcium hydroxide solution Total 100 ml
[Method]
Take glycerite zinc oxide after sieving and mixing with peanut oil, gradually add calcium hydroxide solution to the full amount, and then grind well to obtain.
[Note]
Peanut oil can be replaced by other vegetable oils.
4. Compound boric acid ear drops
[Prescription]
Boric acid 9 g Ice tablet 0.9 g Ethyl alcohol 25 ml Glycerin add to 100 ml
[Method]
Take ice tablet dissolved in ethanol, and take glycerol heated to 100 ℃, add boric acid powder, with the addition of stirring to make the dissolution of cooling, the two liquids are combined, and then add glycerol to 100 ml, stir, that is to obtain.
[Note]
(1) boric acid is easily dissolved in hot glycerol, but the temperature should not exceed 150 ℃, so as to avoid the decomposition of glycerol to produce irritating acrolein. 5. Preparation of compound mint nasal drops
[Prescription].
Mentha piperita 1 g Muscimol 0.2 g Camphor 1 g Phenol 2 g Liquid paraffin add to 100 ml
[Preparation]
Take menthol, muscimol, camphor and phenol in a dry mantle, grind and liquefy, then slowly add liquid paraffin to study and dissolve, transfer to a dry measuring cup, and finally add liquid paraffin to the full amount, stir well to be obtained.
[Note]
(1) with co-dissolution method, dissolve fast, but can also be used separately dissolved method, and finally mixed, so that a clear liquid can be obtained. Phenol is irritating, so it must be dissolved.
(2) This product can not be liquefied phenol instead of phenol, because the water content is easy to make the finished product turbid.
6. Preparation of compound sodium borate solution (Dobel's solution)
[Prescription].
Sodium borate (borax) 15 g Sodium bicarbonate 15 g Liquefied phenol 3 ml Glycerin 35 ml Eosin Distilled water Add to 1000 ml
[Method]
Take borax, sodium bicarbonate dissolved in the appropriate amount of water, liquefied phenol dissolved in glycerol and then added, placed for half an hour, to be bubbles stop, add water to the full amount, and add the appropriate amount of eosin staining (coloring agent) for light red, stir well to be obtained.
[Note]
(1) Borax is not easy to dissolve, available hot water to accelerate the dissolution.
(2) Liquefied phenol added to glycerin can reduce its irritation.
7. sodium salicylate preparation
[Prescription].
Sodium salicylate 100 g Sodium bicarbonate 60 g Sodium metabisulfite 1.2 g Tincture of orange peel 30 ml Peppermint water 6 ml Distilled water Total 1000 ml
[Method]
Take sodium metabisulfite, sodium bicarbonate, sodium salicylate, sequentially dissolved in about 800 ml of distilled water, and then add tincture of orange peel, concentrated mint water filtration, from the filter to add distilled water to 1,000 ml, that is to obtain.
[Note].
(1) Sodium salicylate aqueous solution is unstable, especially in alkaline solution is more easily oxidized into brown, add antioxidant sodium metabisulfite (0.12%) can delay its oxidation discoloration.
(2) Carbon bicarbonate can reduce the gastric stimulation of sodium salicylate, but also accelerate its excretion and reduce its blood concentration, it is reported that it is appropriate to use calcium carbonate, magnesium oxide or aluminum hydroxide instead of sodium bicarbonate.
(3) The product should be stored in brown bottles protected from light.
8. Preparation of Brown Compound (Compound Licorice Compound)
[Prescription].
Glycyrrhiza glabra flowing ointment 120 ml Compound tincture of camphor 120 ml Glycerin 120 ml Antimony potassium tartrate 0.24 g Distilled water Add to 1000 ml
