During the extraction of proteins from cells or tissues, target proteins may be degraded by endogenous proteases, which interferes with subsequent protein detection. This product is an optimized and validated protease inhibitor cocktail for routine protein extraction from cells and tissues. It contains six broad-spectrum protease inhibitors (104 mM AEBSF, 80 μM Aprotinin, 5 mM Bestatin, 1.5 mM E-64, 2 mM Leupeptin and 1.5 mM Pepstatin A dissolved in DMSO) to preserve protein integrity.
Instructions for Use:
Thaw the DMSO stock solution at room temperature. Add the inhibitor cocktail to your sample solution (such as cell lysate or tissue extract) at a volume ratio of 1:100. Lysates supplemented with the protease inhibitor cocktail should be freshly prepared before use and shall not be frozen for later storage.
Precautions:
1. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. After initial use, aliquot the stock solution according to single-use volumes and freeze for storage. Add the cocktail to lysate or other appropriate solutions right before experiments.
2. The protease inhibitors contained in this product are hazardous to human health. Please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation for your personal safety.
