Overview

2′,7′-Dichlorofluorescin Diacetate is a cell-permeable fluorogenic probe that is useful for the detection of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and nitric oxide (NO) and for the determination of the degree of overall oxidative stress.
For maximum solubility in aqueous buffers, DCFH-DA can be directly disolved in 0.1 M Na2CO3 (5 mg/ml) and then immediately diluted with PBS (pH 7.2) to achieve the desired concentration or pH. Upon neutralization of the solution the concentration may not be greater than 1 mg/ml. We do not recommend storing the aqueous solution for more than one day.
