Operation method

In vitro antimicrobial perforation test of traditional Chinese medicine

Materials and Instruments

plain agar plates, L-shaped slides, inoculation rings, medicinal solutions, perforators, Staphylococcus aureus slants.

Move

1. Add 0.1 ml of the above test strain to the agar plate according to aseptic operation and spread evenly with a sterile L-shaped glass rod.

2. Use a sterilized hole punch to make 1 to 5 holes evenly on the plate.

3. Fill each well with the liquid to be tested.

4. After 18 to 24 hours of incubation at 37℃, observe whether there is a circular area without bacterial growth around each well (inhibition circle), and measure the diameter of the inhibition circle to determine whether the bacteria are sensitive to the drug and the size of the inhibitory ability of the drug.
