Application: WB: 1/500 - 1/1000 IHC: 1/50-1/100 Protein Function Serine/threonine kinase that may play a role in mediating the growth-factor and stress induced activation of the transcription factor CREB. Post-translational Autophosphorylated on Ser-386, as part of the activation process. Ser-227 phosphorylation promotes Ser-386 phosphorylation and leads to basal activation. Full activation by growth factors requires additional phosphorylation on Ser-369.

IF analysis of Recombinant RSK2 Antibody (Ab126046) in HeLa cells. The cells were fixed with 4% PFA for 10 minutes, permeabilized with 0.3% Triton X-100 (I743383) for 10 minutes and then blocked with 5% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature. Cells were stained with Recombinant RSK2 Antibody (Ab126046) at 1/200 dilution in blocking buffer overnight at 4°C, and then incubated with Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (AF488) (Ab181954) at a dilution of 1/1000 for 1 hour at room temperature in the dark (green). Cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue).
