Overview
Rabbit anti Human PIM1 Antibody, Recombinant, could be used for WB, IHC and so on. Application: WB: 1/500-1/1000 IHC: 1/50-1/100 Protein Function: May affect the structure or silencing of chromatin by phosphorylating HP1 gamma/CBX3. Isoform 2 promotes the G1/S transition of the cell cycle via up-regulation of CDK2 activity and phosphorylation of CDKN1B, resulting in enhanced nuclear export and proteasome-dependent degradation of CDKN1B. Isoform 2 also represses CDKN1B transcription by phosphorylating and inactivating the transcription factor FOXO3. Plays a role in signal transduction in blood cells. Contributes to both cell proliferation and survival and thus provides a selective advantage in tumorigenesis.

IF analysis of Recombinant PIM1 Antibody (Ab121877) in HeLa cells. The cells were fixed with 4% PFA for 10 minutes, permeabilized with 0.3% Triton X-100 (I743383) for 10 minutes and then blocked with 5% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature. Cells were stained with Recombinant PIM1 Antibody (Ab121877) at 1/200 dilution in blocking buffer overnight at 4°C, and then incubated with Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (AF488) (Ab181954) at a dilution of 1/1000 for 1 hour at room temperature in the dark (green). Cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue).
