Overview
Purity:>95%, by SDS-PAGE visualized with Coomassie® Blue Staining Description: Bcl-2 family proteins contribute to programmed cell death or apoptosis. It is a large protein family and all members contain at least one of four Bcl-2 homology domains. Certain members (Bcl-2, Bcl-XL and Mcl-1) are antiapoptotic, whilst others (Bax, Bak, Bok) are proapoptotic.
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤ -20 °C. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.
