Descripción general

This product is derived from Pichia pastoris expressing the Proteinase K gene from Parengyodontium album (formerly known as Tritirachium album Limber) optimized by site-directed mutagenesis. It exhibits advantages including high specific activity, high yield, and a broader active temperature and pH range.
Advanced protein engineering technology and a 28,000-liter yeast fermentation platform enable efficient unit cost control, providing cost-effective Proteinase K for biopharmaceutical R&D and production. High-efficiency yeast expression and chromatographic purification ensure product purity. The product is endotoxin-free, with a wider range of applications than native Proteinase K.
As one of the highly active proteases available, Proteinase K displays activity over a pH range of 4–12 and a temperature range of 0–75 °C, and retains activity even in the presence of SDS, urea, or EDTA. Proteinase K cleaves peptide bonds at the carboxyl side of aliphatic and aromatic amino acids and is capable of degrading virtually all proteins.
