Immune checkpoint catalytic receptors

Immune checkpoints play a critical role in preventing autoimmunity and maintaining self-tolerance, but they can also be exploited by cancer cells to evade the immune system. There are several different types of immune checkpoints, including CTLA-4, PD-1, and LAG-3. In recent years, drugs that target these checkpoints have been developed as a new class of cancer immunotherapy.
