Melanin-concentrating hormone receptors (MCHR) are a class of G protein-coupled receptors that are activated by melanin-concentrating hormone (MCH), a neuropeptide that is involved in the regulation of feeding behavior, energy homeostasis, and sleep. There are two known MCHR subtypes: MCHR1 and MCHR2.
