Calcitonin receptors

Calcitonin receptors are a class of G protein-coupled receptors that are activated by calcitonin, a hormone that is involved in the regulation of calcium homeostasis and bone metabolism. There are two main types of calcitonin receptors: calcitonin receptor (CTR) and calcitonin receptor-like receptor (CLR).
