Nuclear export proteins

Nuclear export proteins are a group of proteins that are involved in the transport of molecules out of the nucleus and into the cytoplasm. These proteins recognize specific nuclear export signals (NESs) on cargo molecules and facilitate their transport through the nuclear pore complex(NPC).
