Neurotensin receptors are a class of G protein-coupled receptors that are activated by neurotensin, a neuropeptide that is involved in the regulation of several physiological processes such as pain perception, anxiety, and cardiovascular function. There are three known neurotensin receptors: NTS1, NTS2, and NTS3.
