Leucine-rich repeat proteins

Leucine-rich repeat (LRR) proteins are a large family of proteins that contain a characteristic LRR domain, which is composed of several repeats of a conserved sequence motif. The LRR domain is involved in protein-protein interactions and is found in a variety of proteins, including cell surface receptors, cytoplasmic signaling proteins, and extracellular matrix proteins.
